How this works

One person with a phone, not a flooring company. Here is exactly what happens when you call, and what this site does not do.

Who runs the site

Twin Cities MMA Flooring is a website run by one person in Minnesota. It is not a flooring contractor. There is no crew and no showroom. The site does two things. It explains acrylic (MMA) floors in plain terms, and it passes floor jobs to installers who do the work.

What happens when you call

  1. You call (763) 357-8645. It rings the site owner's cell phone. Nothing is routed automatically and no installer answers this line. If nobody picks up, leave a message and the owner calls you back.
  2. The owner asks about the floor. Where it is, how big, what the room is used for, when you can shut down. The contact page lists what to have ready.
  3. The owner passes those details and your phone number to an independent resin-flooring installer who works in the Twin Cities area.
  4. The installer calls you, visits the site if the job fits, and gives you a price.
  5. You decide. From there you deal with the installer directly. The contract and the payment are between you and them.

There may not be an installer for every job. A floor can be too small or too far out, or no installer may be lined up at the time. If no one takes yours, the owner tells you so.

Who pays whom

Calling is free. You never pay this site. The installer may pay the site a referral fee when a job is passed along. You are not obligated to hire the installer, and it is fair to ask them whether a referral fee is in your price.

What the site does not do

The guides on this site summarize documents published by manufacturers, standards bodies and government agencies, with links at the bottom of each page. They are not a specification for your floor, and nobody connected with this site has seen your slab.

What to ask the installer

Ask for these before you sign anything, and ask for them in writing.

Your details

Your name, your number and what you say about the job go to the installer so they can call you back. The installer is a separate business, and what it does with your details after that is up to the installer. The privacy page has the rest.

Questions about the site

Email [email protected]. It reaches the same person as the phone. If something in a guide is wrong or out of date, say which page.
